Large Area Solar Illuminator (LASI), Single 0.5x0.5m Unit

This is a single unit of a LASI array, capable of illuminating a 0.5mx0.5m area. All LASI systems operate with Xe arc lamps and therefore with the solar color temperature of 6,000 K. In general, Sciencetech recommends that the LASI be used in arrays of multiple units, as its performance improves in larger sets of illuminators; however, in certain applications a single LASI may be used on its own.

This price does include a basic frame to hold the LASI at the correct distance from the target plane.

This device is capable of Class C Spectral compliance and Class B temporal instability. Uniformity is typically ±15% over the central area.

Each unit has a single phase power supply and requires 220VAC/10A.
